- does not operate a cookie-consent or CMP banner
- uses Hostinger for website hosting
- uses direct email rather than a contact form
- processes microphone audio locally in the user’s browser or device

GDPR and UK GDPR Rights
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to the processing of your personal information, you may have rights such as:
- access to personal information we hold about you
- correction of inaccurate information
- deletion in certain circumstances
- restriction of certain processing
- objection to certain processing
- data portability where applicable
- withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent
- rights relating to certain automated decision-making where applicable
These rights are subject to the conditions, exceptions, and limitations provided by applicable law.
Not every right applies to every type of information or processing activity.
How We Process Information Under GDPR
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, information is processed using an appropriate lawful basis depending on the purpose.
This may include:
- legitimate interests in operating, maintaining, and securing the website
- legal obligations
- responding to steps or requests initiated by a user
- consent where consent is legally required
Browser permission to use your microphone is controlled by your browser or device. That technical permission should not be confused with a general statement that every processing activity relies on GDPR consent.
Local Microphone Audio and Voice Results
Microphone-based tools on VoiceTypeTest.com process audio locally in your browser or on your device.
Raw microphone audio is not transmitted to our server for analysis.
The tools may generate local measurements or results such as:
- detected pitch
- frequency in Hz
- musical notes
- vocal range
- voice-type estimates
- related voice-analysis values
These results are also kept locally and are not transmitted to our server, analytics services, advertising services, or other third-party services.
Because this information is not sent to or retained on our server through normal tool use, Benjamin Parker cannot retrieve a server-side copy of your microphone audio or those locally generated results.
For more detail, see our Data Security page.
Information We May Actually Hold
Although microphone audio and voice-tool results remain local, limited information may still be processed through normal website operation.
Hosting and Technical Data
VoiceTypeTest.com uses Hostinger for website hosting.
Hostinger and related infrastructure may process standard technical information necessary to deliver and protect the website, such as:
- IP address
- browser or device information
- request timestamps
- requested pages or resources
- technical or security logs
The retention and handling of this information may depend on Hostinger’s operational, security, and legal requirements.
Emails You Send Us
VoiceTypeTest.com does not currently use a contact form.
If you email contact@voicetypetest.com, we may receive and process:
- your email address
- your name, if you provide it
- the contents of your message
- attachments or other information you voluntarily send
Email correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain relevant records, resolve an issue, or comply with legal obligations.
Browser Storage
Some features may use browser-side storage such as localStorage for preferences, settings, or tool state.
Raw microphone audio is not intentionally stored in localStorage.
Browser storage may remain on your device until it is cleared by you, the site, or your browser, depending on the feature.
For more information, see our Cookie Policy.
Automated Decisions
VoiceTypeTest.com tools may automatically calculate or display results such as pitch, notes, vocal range, or voice-type estimates.
These tool outputs are provided for informational and educational use.
VoiceTypeTest.com does not use these results to make decisions about users that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
