These are derived measurements rather than copies of your raw microphone audio.
On VoiceTypeTest.com, these derived voice-tool results are also kept locally in the browser or on your device. They are not sent to our server, analytics services, or other third-party services.
Microphone Permission
VoiceTypeTest.com cannot use your microphone unless your browser or device grants permission.
You can deny microphone access, revoke permission later, or manage microphone permissions through your browser or operating-system settings.
If permission is denied, microphone-dependent tools may not function, but other calculators and converters that do not require audio input can still be used.
Browser Memory and Local Processing
Audio analysis requires the browser to work with small amounts of audio data temporarily while a tool is running.
This temporary processing is different from permanently storing an audio recording.
The tool may also hold temporary values in browser memory while calculating or displaying your results.
Reloading or leaving a page may clear temporary session data depending on the individual tool and browser behavior.

- fewer systems need access to voice-related data
- analysis can happen directly on the user’s device
Local processing does not make every possible online security risk disappear, but it substantially reduces the amount of voice-related information that needs to leave your browser.

We aim to describe our security practices accurately rather than make absolute guarantees.
No website, browser, device, or software system can reasonably be described as completely immune from technical failures, vulnerabilities, malicious software, or user-device compromise.
