Voice Type Test provides a free online tool that classifies users' singing voices into categories based on the Fach system, using real-time microphone pitch detection or an interactive quiz. The Fach system itself is a long-established musicological framework in the public domain. Our specific implementation, scoring algorithm, voice type profiles, training tips, and written descriptions are original works and may not be reproduced without permission.

You may quote brief excerpts for commentary, review, or educational purposes, provided you attribute the source and link back to the original page.

5. Microphone and Audio Data

The microphone test requests access to your device's microphone via your browser's Web Audio API. By granting microphone access, you acknowledge:

• Audio processing occurs entirely in your browser — no audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server
• You can revoke microphone permission at any time through your browser settings
• The quiz test is fully functional without microphone access

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:
