voicetypetest.com is a free online voice classification tool available at https://voicetypetest.com. We provide educational tools and content related to singing voice types, the Fach system, and vocal technique.

Microphone Data

The microphone voice test captures real-time audio from your device's microphone using the Web Audio API. This audio is processed locally in your browser only. Specifically:

• No audio is recorded or stored at any point.
• No audio is transmitted to any server.
• Processing is done entirely in JavaScript running in your browser tab.
• When you close the tab or navigate away, all audio data is discarded.

Microphone permission is requested by your browser and controlled by you. You can deny permission at any time — the quiz test works without microphone access.

Quiz Data

Answers you provide in the quiz (note range, vocal weight, tessitura preference) are used only to calculate your voice type result in your current browser session. This data is not stored, not transmitted, and not associated with any identifier.

Analytics

We may use standard web analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate site usage — page views, session duration, and referral sources. This data is anonymous and aggregated; it does not identify individual users. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. Cookies

voicetypetest.com does not set any first-party cookies for functional purposes. Analytics providers (if active) may set third-party cookies. Most modern browsers allow you to block third-party cookies in settings. We do not use cookies for advertising, tracking, or user profiling.

The following third-party services may be involved in delivering this site:

• Google Fonts — We load fonts (Inter, Playfair Display) from Google's CDN. When your browser requests these fonts, Google may log the request (IP address, browser type). See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Web hosting / CDN — Our hosting provider may log standard server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) as part of normal infrastructure operation. These logs are retained briefly and not used for profiling.

We have no advertising partners, no retargeting pixels, and no social media tracking widgets embedded in the site.

voicetypetest.com does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The site does not require registration and collects no personal data from any user, regardless of age.

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. No user accounts exist. No voice recordings are stored. Analytics data retained by third-party providers (e.g., Google Analytics) is governed by their respective privacy policies.
